One of our favourite places to explore from the house is the Roseland Pennisula. Start your day by heading to the King Harry car ferry which is just 10 minutes drive from the house but make time to stop on your way down at Tressilick Gardens. Located on the road down to the ferry these beautiful National Trust gardens are a wild and beautiful place to spend an hour or two. Malmo in Cornwall is blessed with a beautiful creekside location close to the River Kennall. Drive ten minutes from the house, along winding tree-lined roads and you will find a series of beautiful harbour villages. Our favourites are Restronguet Creek, Mylor Bridge and Flushing. Restronguet Creek is the smallest of the three, really more of a hamlet than a village.
